Fukuoka

Fukuoka is one of Japan’s ten most populated cities and an important harbor city for trade.

It was chosen by Mongol forces to use as their landing spot during the 13th-century invasion.

Fukuoka is actually two cities fused together: the port city of Hakata and the castle village of Fukuoka, Japan. If you like anime, then this is a stop you will want to make because of the ramen shop Ichirakus featured in Naruto. It was on my son’s list of places he wanted to visit. If anime is not your thing, it’s not mine, you can enjoy great shopping at the Canal City complex.
