– By Car: Seljalandsfoss is easily accessible by car. It is about a 2-hour drive (125 km) from Reykjavik, the capital of Iceland. Follow Route 1 (the Ring Road) eastwards, and you will see signs directing you to the waterfall.

Summer (June to August): Enjoy long daylight hours, lush green landscapes, and a milder climate. The midnight sun provides excellent photo opportunities.
Winter (December to February): Witness the waterfall in a snowy setting, though pathways might be icy. Visiting in winter offers a chance to see the Northern Lights.
A path leads behind the waterfall, offering a unique perspective and a refreshing experience. Wear waterproof clothing and sturdy shoes as it can be slippery and wet.
