A little way further from Chilmark you will see the town, cliffs, and fishing port of Aquinnah!

This is one of the most picturesque and stunning beaches and cliffs on the island. I can’t say enough about how breathtaking the cliffs are from above and on the beach itself.
Spend some time here and take some walks around the area. Sunsets in this area are incredible as well!

Gay Head Lighthouse is a must-see on this end of Martha’s Vineyard. This was the first lighthouse built on the island in 1799. Paul Revere actually supplied some of the copper and tin.

The lighthouse was in operation until 1956 and then opened to the public in 1986. It was moved 134 feet back from its original location because of the threat of erosion in 2015 and relit.
