Best Photo Spots in Zurich

Zurich Switzerland photo spots

Münsterbrücke is one of the most famous bridges in the city and a beautiful spot for photos. Most of the views are towards Fraumünster Church on the opposite side of the river. If you turn around you can take photographs of the Grossmünster church.

Grossmünster Tower

Grossmünster Tower is the most iconic church in Zurich Switzerland and while some amazing images can be captured on the inside, take some time to wander around the outside as well. Then if you are looking for a high vantage point, climb the 187 steps to the tower viewing platform. Once there you will be able to enjoy panoramic views of the city, as well as towards Lake Zurich and the mountains in the distance.

Along Wühre

Along Wühre located on the west side of the Limmat river, there is a street called Wühre. This is a good spot to capture photographs of the Grossmünster church. Try to go during the blue hour and at sunrise for the best conditions.

Augustinergasse (street)

Augustinergasse (street) This street is a lovely path lined with flags.

Quaibrücke (bridge)

Quaibrücke (bridge) if you want the quintessential postcard shot of the city then head to Quaibrücke which is the bridge closest to Lake Zurich. This is a great spot to watch the sunset and blue hour.

Rudolf-Brun-Brucke Bridge

Address: 47°22’27.9″N 8°32’32.9″E

Rudolf-Brun-Brücke is a great spot for capturing pictures from across the Limmat river. If you are wanting a nice reflection, go to this bridge in the morning and use an ND filter to flatten the water a bit more.
