TripAdvisor rated Grace Bay the number one beach in the world in its annual Travelers’ Choice Awards for 2022: The Best of the Best Beaches.
While I have visited some beautiful beaches, I am prepared to say that this is one of the best in Turks & Caicos! The sand is incredibly soft and white. The water is laid out in front of you in layers of different tones of blues and is so clear that you can easily see 20 feet plus under the water.
The waves are very calm. You can wade into the shallow water very easily and safely and enjoy the warm water temperatures.
A barrier reef located a bit offshore keeps the seaweed off the stunning shore. Boaters, snorkelers, and other water sports are very popular in calm waters.
If you aren’t staying at one of the high-end resorts located on this stretch of sand, you can still rent beach chairs and umbrellas from a little stand near the Seven Stars Resort.
