Harajuku Street

Harajuku Street

This is the center of Japan’s most extreme teenage fashion culture. The focal point is Takeshita Dori and the side streets are lined with trendy shops and food stands. Make sure you check out one of the largest 100 Yen Shops ($1 store) that offers a variety of goods.

If gaudy and over the top isn’t your thing, then head over to Omotesando, which is known as Tokyo’s Champ-Elysees. Here you will find luxury brands and upscale restaurants and cafes.
