Depending on the season you are planning on visiting this city there are several things to do in and around Lake Zurich.
During the warmer months, visitors and citizens alike can be found sprawled out on the banks and the lake filled with boats. Some of the best views of Zurich and the Swiss Alps can be seen from the water, boat rentals are available. If you enjoy jogging (you are crazy) there are some lovely paths surrounding the lake.
During the winter months, the temperatures can get quite low and provide a beautiful snowy landscape to visitors. Bundle up and walk along the promenade and enjoy the mountain scenery.
There are many shops and restaurants in the area to visit as well.
