Address: 13 Rue des Écoles, 68000 Colmar, France
This is a covered marketplace that was originally constructed in the 19th century to offer local vendors a place to sell their products and treats. It is one of the most picturesque places in Colmar City. Locals, and visitors alike, enjoy wandering around ogling over the fresh baked goods and the beautiful rainbow of produce.
Check out the bronze fountain of a winegrower that was designed by Auguste Bartholdi in the 1860s. While the original one is in the Musée Bartholdi for safekeeping, this one is a replica.
