Located in the center of the old town, this Lutheran baroque-style church is considered to be one of the most beautiful Protestant churches in Germany. The Ludgwigskirche in Saarbrücken was constructed in 1762. However, after being destroyed in World War II, it was rebuilt to its original form.
The interior is opulent and created in all white and gold. It is worth a few minutes to sit in a pew and look at all the details in the space. It is very impressive, and my family and I still talk about its unusual beauty.
