To get a great overview of the main town square and the neighboring grape-covered hills, climb the 220 steps of the Town Hall Tower to the top.
Known as Das Plönlein, this is a famous photo spot of the town, as shown above. After you walk under the Burg Tor (Castle Tower), turn around and look at it from the garden.
This is a very popular spot as well. You can look out over the countryside and vineyards. Mixed in are the stunning red roofs that Bavaria is known for.
