Rue and Petite des Bouchers in Brussels are narrow alleys that are filled with cafes and beautiful displays of fish and produce. Be sure not to miss the somewhat creepy, but authentic, marionette theater, Royal Puppet Theater Toone (located at Rue du Marche Aux Herbes 66).
I would not recommend eating on this street because it is very touristy, and to be honest, not very good.
You need to try the genuine Speculoos (a traditional spiced biscuit/cookie), visit Maison Dandoy. It is a very old shop that has, in my opinion, the best waffles and Speculoos in the city.
The shop is located at 31 Rue au Beurre, while the corresponding tea room can be found at 4-18 Rue Charles Buls.
